About.

Welcome to Joan Park World, a place where nature and design meet. Each design reflects the seamless fusion of contemporary and classical styles, harmoniously blending the past and present. Every piece is created with care and intention, shaped by an appreciation for craftsmanship, texture, and form.

Through the Wildflower & Wing Club, members receive early access to limited collections, special releases, and creative reflections that celebrate a life lived artfully. The Wildflower & Wing newsletter is the unified evolution of Joan Park World and MyMind Publishing, merging artistry and creativity with contemplation and perspective.

Its mission is to bring together two essential human pursuits, to create beauty and to cultivate thought. It is more than a community. It is a shared appreciation for creativity, civility, and culture.
I believe conversation, curiosity, humor, language, cuisine, music, dance, and creativity are not just hobbies. They are civic responsibilities. They keep a culture alive. They are the heartbeat of a healthy society. A person who creates, listens, and accepts helps repair more than one who argues to win.
We can choose participation over polarization. We can choose art over outrage. We can choose community over politics. I believe we can still be grounded, imaginative, emotionally intelligent, and able to disagree without dehumanizing.
Joan Park World is built on the belief that elegance can be both natural and human. Every piece is an invitation to slow down, notice the details, and surround yourself with designs that remind you how alive, dynamic, and beautiful the world still is.
And every product I create, every word I send, is my way of saying, enjoy today. Make something good happen. Laugh with someone. Share your smile. Dance. Release. Create. Forgive. Play.
May your days be filled with beautiful flowers,

The name.

Joan Park World bears a name steeped in familial legacy and artistic reverence. Conceived as an homage to the indomitable spirit of Peggy Joan Park Talley, Carrie Joan's beloved grandmother, the name pays tribute to a remarkable woman who left an enduring imprint on the hearts of those who knew her.

Peggy Joan Park Talley, born Peggy Joan Park, was a woman of remarkable fortitude. Tragically, her father Plez Park met his untimely demise in the Texas City explosion when Peggy was just 16 years old. Undeterred by adversity, Peggy forged ahead and became a dedicated and highly respected nurse. In addition to her medical prowess, Peggy was also a proficient painter and writer, leaving an artistic legacy that would become the wellspring of inspiration for Joan Park World.

The logo.

Joan Park World's logo, adorned with the verbena flower, embodies creativity, harmony, and the spirit of inspiration, mirroring the brand's foundational values. This emblem not only signifies the brand's aspiration to uplift customers but also pays tribute to the resilient spirit of Peggy Joan Park Talley, Carrie Joan's cherished grandmother, who had a fondness for the scent of lemon verbena.

Keep your face to the sun and you will never see the shadows.
